You may or may not know that both my parents were choral conductors.   I grew up with lots of harmonies and lots of choral music.  It’s been a huge part of my musical education and still sing choral music often.

I’ve spent so much time and energy on my own artist songs and pop music in general that I haven’t wrote many classical pieces and certainly have never released them.  Two years ago, a wonderful friend of mine passed away.  Her name was Ann and she was a singer and great supporter of choral music.  After she passed, I wrote this song.   If you know choral music, it would be for a five part women’s choir.  SSSAA.  I recorded myself and sang all the parts. (It’s amazing how much that helps the blend..)

Craig Philips, an amazing organ and choral composer, helped me make some edits for which I am very thankful.  There are a few more edits I’ll probably do, but this is the where the song lies right now.  I hope you enjoy it.

Much Love, Jocelyn
